Have you ever thought of praying for your favorite actor/actress?

If not then I suggest that now is the time to start praying for them. I know it may at first sound funny and ridiculous but after some contemplation one may realize that it is actually not, after all, each and every one of them is a creature created and loved by God and has a soul to save. If we think that by lining up in a premiere to greet them we do them favor then much more if we pray for them. For how many times do we thank another for the prayers he has offered on our behalf than for the visit he paid us? For in prayer we God ask not only for their temporal welfare but also for their spiritual welfare and their ultimate end which if taken for granted will be a cause of great sorrow to them than compared to all the miseries (gathered as one) they have already suffered.

Prayer is the best gift we could offer anyone including celebrities and no one, rich or poor, in affliction or in health, young or old, that cannot do it. Prayer could be as simple as “Dear Lord, I pray for___.”; or as complicated as offering all your prayers (including Masses), sufferings, every day tasks, and even sickness by calmly surrendering to the Will of the Almighty.

So why not start now. In the end, after all, we will all benefit from praying.

N.B.: Those who do not have any favorite can instead pray for all celebrities in general.
